Mosaic collection
Goldinglass India’s Mosaic Collection was designed as an addition to its homeware range. In a delicate handmade process performed in a dust-free area, small squares of 24k gold leaf are assembled and inserted between two layers of high-quality glass before being kiln-fused using a sophisticated vacuum process. The combination of patented technology, handcraft and artistic creativity is visible in the tiles’ hues, tones, shades and textural quality.

Plain collection

The Plain Collection reveals the untouched beauty of a full gold leaf coming to life between two pieces of quality clear glass. Its radiating texture brings elegance and authenticity to an interior.

Decorate

Decorate was conceived as a luxury addition to the homeware collection, combining handcraft and artistic creativity. Pure 24k gold leaf is laid entirely by hand between two layers of high-quality glass, then kiln-fused. The vacuum-sealed gold retains its purity and radiance.

Between 1996 and 2000, she lectured at art colleges in India, Portugal and Ghana, settling in Auroville in 2005.

Architectural tiles
Range of tiles
The standard mosaic measures 45 × 45mm with a thickness of 4mm. Products use inlays of pure gold, platinum or silver, with pure gold creating a rich finish of light and colour.
Standard mosaics use high-quality float glass with high hydrolytic class 5. The specifications describe resistance to rain, running water, chlorinated pool water and acidic water.
Special glass can create a more wrinkled, textured and lively metal appearance with a lighter colour. An etched surface can also be supplied in place of the standard fire-polished finish.
Tiles can be straight or curved. Curved forms suit façade edges, wall-to-floor transitions, pools, spas and ponds, while standard curved mosaics can achieve decorative designs across many radii.
On request, 24k mosaics can be manufactured to a custom shape, size or radius. Colours are created with coloured glass and are described as UV-stable; blue and pink shades use silver leaf in addition to the gold inlay.
Although more than 2,000 glass colours can be produced, the standard programme is recommended for practical ordering. It is organised into nine basic colours—green, blue, indigo, violet, brown, grey, red, orange and yellow—with three intensity gradations and tone-on-tone gold options, providing a spectrum of 81 standard shades.
Interior decoration
Multifaceted 24k gold-in-glass tiles can adapt to two- and three-dimensional artworks. Interior specialists may use them functionally or to create symbolic patterns and expressive walls for residences and workplaces.
The possibilities extend to homes, hotels, restaurants, spas and other interiors where architects and designers can realise unique models with a luxurious, light-responsive surface.
Outdoor design
Entirely handmade, 24k gold-in-glass tiles can become part of a new construction or the remodelling of an exterior structure, combining pure gold with other architectural materials.
A building can be clad with mosaics applied directly to walls or roofs, or with ready-made façade elements. Goldinglass India can shape AS 316 grade stainless steel to project specifications—rectangular, triangular, round, straight or curved—and can develop the affixation system and structural load calculations.
Ready-made tiled basins can be supplied for ponds and fountains with curved edges. The standard basin is 2.40m in diameter and approximately 0.5m deep, using an AS 316 stainless-steel base covered with approximately 2,000 24k mosaics. Fountain basins may be supplied with one or two central holes.
Custom design & new products

Goldinglass India develops standard and custom-made gold mosaics for architects, designers and homeowners. Its manufacturing process can support new ideas, special forms and individual applications.
For interior or exterior projects, stainless-steel structures can be moulded to individual specifications and permanently finished with pure gold glass tiles. Custom mosaics can also be made to requested shapes, sizes and radii.
