Material standards
Every piece is handmade from genuine materials. The process uses pure 24k gold or pure silver rather than alloys, together with high-quality technical glass low in alkaline substances. Finished objects are suitable for interiors and outdoor applications.
Vacuum-sealed for permanence
A pure gold leaf is placed between two glass surfaces and fused in a temperature-controlled vacuum oven. Removing the air allows atmospheric pressure to press the glass layers together while heat completes the fusion.
This patented vacuum-sealed method is designed to retain the gold’s brilliance and durability while preventing tarnishing, colour fading, cracks, breakage, or diffusion of the gold into the glass.

Goldinglass India is a registered private limited company whose manufacturing technique has been granted patent rights.
Its products are marketed by Mitra Auroville, a unit of the Auroville Foundation. The work brings together designers, craftspeople and a process developed to preserve pure gold leaf inside glass.
